    Zion Hearts

The Zion Hearts formed in January, 2012 when Jade Pope, Gena Rockwell, Troy Hadler, Don Kinnie and Mary Golliday decided to join forces musically with the common goal of spreading the positive message and chill vibes of Reggae music.

Jade and Gena have worked together over the years in the realms of music and yoga. Troy and Don had also been jammin' together as well as share a love for martial arts. The two guys brought the creative Mary into the mix, and a week later, they played their first show.

Things fell into place very quickly, as a strong musical bond began to form between the members. Since then, the Zion Hearts have been playing their unique blend of reggae music in Frederick, MD and Shepherdstown, WV. They hope that you will enjoy their music as much as they enjoy playing it, whether it be by simply chillin' to the groove or going full force on the dance floor.

    On Stage: 12:30-1:30PM

    Lucas and the Lovelys

Lucas Laws & Tara Jenkins finally met on a back porch. The summer sun was setting, the rain was falling and someone started strumming a six-string. Together they wrote a song reflecting on their surroundings and thus commenced upon their musical journey.

They started playing at poetry readings, open mics and bookstores and developed their own muscial style performing traditional and original songs about longing, loving, and breakfast on trains.

The tumbleweeds tumbled along and eventually found a beat with Katherine Seifarth, who brought her confident percussion and a melodious third singing voice to the band. Soon after, they enlisted the sure hands of mutual friend Kelly Brown on bass, and the rhythmic groove was established.

By the following summer, the newly named Lucas & the Lovelys evolved again with the addition of violin virtuoso Joe Taylor after a chance encounter at a pizza shop.

    On Stage: 1:45-2:45PM
